What is the PCC discussing at present?

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the body which is responsible for the running of the Parish. It has legal and financial responsibilities laid down by the Church of England. Day-to-day matters are dealt with by various officers with the assistance of the Parish Administrator.
The PCC has two permanent sub-committees, a Standing Committee and a Finance & General Purposes Committee.
The PCC is chaired by the Team Rector ex
officio. Clergy, Readers and Churchwardens are also ex officio members.
The remaining members are elected, normally for a three year period, at
the Annual Church Meeting which is usually in March or April. To ensure
continuity one third of the elected membership is chosen each year, so
that periods of office overlap. At its first meeting after the Annual
Church Meeting the PCC appoints its Secretary and Treasurer.
